- What if I employ multiple photographers? Can I give them access to my PWD studio?
- Yes. All PWD studio accounts can accommodate multiple photographers working for a studio. You will receive a Studio Admin login when you sign up. This login will allow you to add multiple photographers to your account, each of which will have their own user name and password. As admin, you will have the choice of limiting the photographers' privileges or giving them full admin access to your account.
- What is the purpose of adding photographer accounts to my PWD studio account?
- For studios employing a large number of photographers, it may be easier to allow each photographer to access their own PWD events. When you add photographers, each will have their own username and password, and each can access only their events. This allows you to delegate the event management and/or sending of images as you see fit.
- How do I add a photographer to my PWD account?
- From the Studio menu, choose Add Photographer. Enter the photographer's information and click Save. You will then have the opportunity to further customize the photographer's account.
- How do I view and edit my current photographers?
- From the Studio menu, choose Studio Profile. All your studio photographers will be listed in the Photographer List. To edit a photographer, click on his or her name.
- How do I assign a photographer to an event?
- During the event creation process, you will be given the chance to choose any of your photographers for that event.
To change the photographer of an existing event, go to the Event Details page from the Events menu and edit the Event Information section. Here you may choose any of your photographers from the Photographer drop-down menu. Be sure to click Save before leaving the page. - Can I limit what photographers can do within their accounts?
- Yes. When you add a photographer account, you have the option of giving them admin privileges or photographer privileges.
Admin privileges allow photographers to access and edit everything the main studio account does. Use this option with caution.
Photographer privileges limit the account in the following ways:- Photographers can only access events they've been assigned to.
- Phototographers cannot create new events.
- Photographers cannot view or edit studio information or catalogs.
- When viewing customer and order reports, photographers will only see information related to their events.
- Can photographers order proofs and products through their accounts?
- Yes. You may delegate proof and product orders to your photographers. Note that all orders placed through a photographer account will be billed to the studio account.
