How do I let people know about a new event?
When you release an event to the event owner, he or she will be notified about the event release via email. If you want more people to be able to access the event, you will need to release it to family and friends. Before doing this, however, you have the option of entering contact info into that event's Family & Friends list. Anyone on this list will receive an email notification when the event is released to family and friends. The event owner will also receive a copy of this notification which can then be forwarded on as a standard email.

For more information about the Family & Friends list, see the Family & Friends Lists section of the FAQ
What does it mean to preview an event as owner?
This option on the Events menu allows you to preview the event as the event owner (the bride or groom) would see it. You may want to make sure everything is to your liking before releasing the event to them, or you may wish to see it from their angle so you can help them if they have any difficulties.
What does it mean to release an event to the owner?
The Release to Owner option is available from the Events menu and this is what allows you to share the event with the event owner (the bride or groom) when you are ready. As soon as you release the event to the owner, they will receive an email containing a link to the event site and their own user id and password which will allow them to access and modify their event.
What does it mean to release an event to family and friends?
After releasing an event to the event owner, you will also have the option of releasing it to family and friends. This sends an email announcement to anyone listed on the event's Family & Friends email list (for more information on this, see the "Family & Friends Lists" section of the FAQ). The announcement will contain a link to the event and the public password, if one has been set.

Note that the event owner also has the ability to release the event to family and friends, and we recommended that studios allow the owner to do so when they are ready. Still, as a studio, you have the option to release it as you see fit.
